The Big Idea & Content Strategy

Early Brainstorming & Tagline
We began hatching holiday plans for Imagine—a premium Apple reseller—well before the Christmas rush. Our goal: to stand out in a crowded market and drive both online engagement and in-store traffic. After hours of wordplay and sketching out possible visuals, we landed on a unifying theme:  

“Sleigh it with Imagine.”

This playful tagline combined the fun, festive feel of Christmas (“sleigh”) with a modern twist on “slaying” (doing something spectacular), perfectly matching Apple’s sleek, premium aura.

Content Calendar & Planning
With the tagline locked in, we created a content calendar that outlined our posting schedule, ensuring we covered all bases—organic posts, contests, story highlights, videos, and ads. This calendar also mapped out:

  • Key Posting Dates: Teasers, launch announcements, winners’ reveals, and general festive cheer.
  • Shadow Ads (Paid Campaigns): Conversion ads for product promos, traffic ads leading to the landing page, and engagement ads spotlighting the fill-in-the-blank game—all strategically timed to reach different segments of our audience.

By setting a clear roadmap, we could balance brand storytelling with promotional offers—maintaining a consistent, holiday-centric voice across all channels.

  • Landing Page: Central hub for sign-ups, revealing daily updates and teaser prompts.
  • In-Store Experience: A physical sign-up box for walk-ins, daily name draws, and mini-giveaways.
  • Paid Traffic Ads directed people to the landing page, driving substantial website visits and building an online community that mirrored the offline buzz.

When Imagine prepared to open its latest store in a bustling new mall, a holistic marketing mix came into play—ATL, BTL, digital, and social media all worked in unison. Our primary aim: drive foot traffic on day one and sustain the hype well past opening. On the digital front, we used everything from teaser posts and geo-targeted ads to influencer campaigns and UGC contests, ensuring that online excitement translated into real-world footfall.


1. Social Posts & Teasers

Countdown GIFs

  • We hyped the opening with striking countdown posts—3 days to go… 2 days… 1 day…—showcasing sleek Apple-inspired visuals.

Intro Grids

  • A 3×3 Instagram grid teased the store’s premium look and upcoming deals, effectively introducing the buzz around a fresh “Just Imagine” experience.

Behind-the-Scenes Reels

  • Short, engaging videos offered sneak peeks at store prep, from installing that glowing signage to unboxing Apple products. Each reel ended with “It’s here” or “See you soon!”, creating anticipation among potential visitors.

2. Targeted Ads & Local Buzz

Geo-Targeted Paid Campaigns

  • We ran ads on Meta (Facebook, Instagram), X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube, targeting users within a specific radius of the mall. Emphasis: exclusive opening offers and the chance to be the first to experience new Apple tech in-store.

A/B Testing

  • Ad variations: one highlighting the store’s premium ambiance and Apple lineup, another spotlighting launch deals. By comparing performance, we sharpened our messaging to attract the ideal audience—tech enthusiasts, local shoppers, and Apple fans.

3. Contests & Giveaways

Online “What Connects Namma Bengaluru with Imagine?” Contest

  • Using Meta and X, we invited followers to guess or share their favorite local-Apple tie-in. The top 10 winners received special gifts and exclusive discounts to redeem in-store.

In-Store Giveaways & Games

  • Shoppers who participated in fun challenges at the store stood a chance to win branded goodies. In exchange, they were encouraged to post a quick reel or photo tagging Imagine, boosting our organic reach.

4. Influencer Campaigns

Store Tour Teasers

  • Select tech and lifestyle influencers were given pre-launch tours, posting behind-the-scenes glimpses on Stories. This built FOMO and got their followers marking the official opening date on their calendars.

Live Event Coverage

  • On launch day, a few influencers broadcasted live from the store. Their real-time videos—demoing Apple products and chatting with enthusiastic early shoppers—expanded the buzz beyond just the mall’s foot traffic.

5. User-Generated Content (UGC)

  • We nudged visitors to share selfies, reels, or quick snaps from the “light-up” photo wall using the hashtag #JustImagine. The feed quickly filled with genuine customer excitement, giving the campaign an organic social boost.

A Heartfelt Engagement Campaign

For this special Father’s Day campaign, our primary goal was to spark meaningful engagement by celebrating the heartfelt bond between dads and their children. We designed a fun contest asking participants to:

  1. Comment the quirky or endearing name they call their dad by.
  2. Take a selfie with their dad.
  3. Post it on their story.
  4. Tag our brand’s social account @imaginebyample.

To boost excitement, we encouraged participants to DM a screenshot of their post along with their phone number and email for a higher chance to win prizes and goodies.

  • Massive Engagement: We received over 1,155,288 reach and 1,156,342 impressions, with an impressive 26,699 engagements.
  • Conversions: The campaign drove 500 website link clicks and 331 post reactions, reflecting both brand awareness and audience enthusiasm.
